Neurodiversity Aware™

The Neurodiversity Aware® training and accreditation programme is for individuals wanting to gain a greater understanding for their organisations to know how to create neuroinclusive workplaces and  support people who have neuro-divergent ‘conditions’ from a workplace perspective.

This may include for example those with:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
  • Dyscalculia
  • Dyslexia
  • Developmental Language Disorders (DLD)
  • Dyspraxia/Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD)
  • Tourette’s Syndrome and tic disorders and other related cognitive diverse traits

What does the training course provide?

The Neurodiversity Aware® training and accreditation programme provides the last remaining jigsaw piece for employers in the puzzle that is ‘neurodiversity’ and provides individuals and their employing organisations with an appreciation of the big ‘multi-dimensional’ picture of neurodiversity from a workplace perspective and equips them to bring about positive change to ensure the right processes are in place in the future.

Taking a proactive approach to providing appropriate support, when it is needed, increases the chances for employing organisations being able to tap into the strengths and talents. It is also indicative of a caring and supportive workplace in which people can feel safe to seek support if they need it.
