What is the Disability Confident Scheme?
The Government’s Disability Confident Scheme supports employers to maximise on the strengths that disabled people can bring to the workplace.
The aim of the scheme is to support employers in recruiting and retaining disabled people and those with health conditions.
There are 3 Disability Confident levels:
Level 1 – Disability Confident Committed (self-certification)
Level 2 – Disability Confident Employer
Level 3 – Disability Confident Leader
Each level must be completed before progressing to the next.
