Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Text alternative for images Some images don’t have a text alternative, so the information in them isn’t available to people using a screen reader. This doesn’t meet WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content). We plan to add text alternatives for all images by January 2021. When we publish new content, we will make sure our use of images meets accessibility standards.   Page content does not reflow When zooming in on the page some content (e.g. page banners) does not magnify with reflow. Some page banners also impact the findability of the Skip to Content function. We plan to review this by January 2021.   Video controls The Getting Started video on www.doitprofiler.net does not have the required caption controls or transcriptions available. In accordance with the regulations, all new Getting started videos created after September 2020 will be made more accessible.

Disproportionate burden

This section covers issues that we cannot fix at the moment. We’ve assessed the cost of fixing these issues but believe that doing so would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the law. We’ve assessed the cost of fixing the issues with page content reflow. We believe that doing so now would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We will make another assessment in January 2021.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

This section covers issues that we do not need to fix right now. The law calls these exemptions.

Third Party Content

Some reports that are accessed on www.doitprofiler.net give practical tips and strategies that contains third-party content. We do not have control over and are not responsible for the accessibility of this content, but we make best endeavours to work with the third-party to improve its accessibility.
